The handsome Prince travels wide and far to find the perfect Princess to marry, but he returns alone to the palace.One stormy night at the Palace a soaked girl dressed in rags comes knocking at the door. She says she is a princess but she does not look like a princess.Therefore the mother of the prince lets her sleep on top of 20 mattresses and 20 eider down duvets with one small pea underneath.The next morning the girl says she has not slept well because of a big lump in the bed.Immediately they know she is a princess, because only a real princess would feel the pea. The prince marries her and they live happily ever after.
